August 13, 2024 | Town Admin Town of Sutton Ad Hoc Website Committee Meeting Minutes July 10, 2024, 6 pm Julia Jones, Town Administrator, opened the meeting at 6 p.m. Roll call was taken with Donna Catanzaro, Kim Ortakales & Crispin Fletcher in attendance. Joe Burns was absent. A motion was made by Donna and seconded by Kim to approve the minutes of June 26, 2024 as presented. The motion was approved unanimously @ 6:12 pm. Committee members discussed proposals from Civic Plus, Catalyst and Revise, sharing their thoughts & ideas regarding design, functionality, security and cost. Other municipal websites were sampled for features that might be a good fit for Sutton. Next Actions: • Donna & Crispin will explore the back end of the current website with provided credentials • Julia will contact the towns of Hancock and Newbury for insights into their websites • Evaluate the necessity of various website features with an eye on lowering costs • Julia & Kim will meet to explore designs & user experience of other municipal websites • Gain a better understanding of our specific goals & requirements so we know the essential questions to ask vendors • Schedule meetings with reps from website companies The next Committee meeting was scheduled for Wednesday, July 24, 2024.
