Call to Order Regular Meeting Chairperson DeFelice called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. 2. Roll Call 3. Approval of Minutes of Special Meeting of March 29, 2017 The Committee requested that the word “DRAFT” be placed on the title page and throughout the Minutes, to be able to differentiate from the draft minutes and the final minutes. The following amendment was made: – Page 2, the third Motion wording changed from “convert” to “modify”, as per the communication received from Town Counsel regarding the Committee’s recent appointment. MOTION: Ex-Officio Wright moved to approve the March 29th, 2016 Special Meeting Minutes, as amended. It was seconded by Chairperson DeFelice. The motion carried. (4-0) 4. Welcome New Members – Orientation Chairperson DeFelice distributed a packet to the Committee, which contained “raw data”, to include definitions, frequently asked questions, Budget Law, and a current Budget Committee roster. He described his intention with the packet, and suggested that the Committee work on drafting a packet for all members, that could be modified as needed. Much discussion was had regarding the contents of the packet, as well as the role of the Budget Committee. 5. Final Comments The Committee went over the proposed 2017 schedule. 6.
