This change will allow the Town to prohibit motorized vehicles from accessing this portion of the road due to serious erosion problems and hiking trail safety. Snowmobiles will be not be included in the motorized vehicle ban. Access to abutting land will not be affected. The segment of Kings Hill Road in question is shown highlighted in yellow in the map. About 5,500 feet of Class 6 road would be changed to Class A trail status pending a favorable vote at Town Meeting.
