June 19, 2018 | Town Admin TOWN OF SUTTON Pillsbury Memorial Hall 93 Main Street Sutton Mills, NH 03221 PLANNING BOARD Notice of Public Hearing Trim and Remove Trees Along Scenic Roads Notice is hereby given of a Public Hearing to be held on Tuesday July 10, 2018 at or about 7 p.m. at the Pillsbury Memorial Hall, 93 Main Street, Sutton Mills, NH, concerning a request by Eversource pursuant to RSA 231:158, Effect of Designation of Scenic Roads, to trim and remove trees on Blaisdell Hill Road and Keyser Street, both of which are Sutton designated scenic roads. Applicant Eversource Proposed Work Blaisdell Hill Road: Due to an aging support system, the pole located at the intersection of Blaisdell Hill Rd and Archie Sawyer Rd needs to be replaced. The current location is in the middle of the intersection of these two roads. This makes the pole vulnerable to vehicle impacts as well as creates an obstacle for snow removal. Keyser Street: Due to maintenance of the electrical system along Keyser Street, pole 98/56 located at the south-east corner of 30 Keyser Street needs to be replaced. New standards dictate that a taller pole must be installed. Four large pine trees create a physical obstruction and hazard to the proposed work and should be removed. Interested citizens are encouraged to attend the public hearing and express their views and/or submit written comments. Written comments will become part of the public record and provided to the Board Members to consider. Please address written comments to: Town of Sutton, Land Use Department, 93 Main Street, Sutton Mills, NH 03221. Documents submitted are available for public review at the Pillsbury Memorial Hall during regular Land Use business hours and will be available at the Planning Board meeting. If you have any questions on this matter, please contact Diane M. Lander, Land Use Coordinator, at 927-2402 or at landuse@Sutton-NH.org.
