November 25, 2024 | Town Admin Town of Sutton Pillsbury Memorial Hall 93 Main Street Sutton Mills, NH 03221 Select Board Minutes November 7th, 2024, 4:00pm Pledge of Allegiance: Select Board Chair Glenn Pogust opened the meeting at 4:00pm with the Pledge of Allegiance. Present at the meeting were: Glenn Pogust, Select Board Chair; Michael McManus, Select Board Member; Nancy Glynn, Select Board Member; and Julia Jones, Town Administrator. Also present at the meeting were: Greg Gill, Crispin Fletcher, Kathleen Stowell, and Alison Jones. Appointments: At 4:00pm the Board met with Greg Gill for an interactive exercise to gather the Board’s wishes for the Camp Wabasso project. Gill presented preliminary findings from his efforts to gather community input for a wish list for the Camp Wabasso properties. Gill shared his plans to solicit more feedback through various channels, including community Facebook pages and local institutions like schools and libraries. The Board, Gill, and the Town Administrator discussed the possibility of placing an article on the warrant for the 2025 Town Meeting related to the Camp Wabasso properties. The Board discussed the possibility of presenting a warrant article to see if the Town will vote to adopt the provisions of NH RSA 41:14-a to authorize the Select Board to accept real estate following public hearings. Gill discussed the formation of a Camp Wabasso Committee. Gill acknowledged that a communication plan is essential for gathering input and keeping the public informed on the Camp Wabasso project. The Board discussed a meeting on November 13th between representatives of GSEMA, Glynn, Gill, and the Town Administrator. At 5:00pm the Select Board and the Budget Committee held a joint public meeting. Minutes from the joint meeting will be prepared by the Budget Committee. New Business: The Board discussed logistics for upcoming interviews for the Administrative Assistant position. Adjournment: There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 7:00pm.
