November 25, 2024 | Town Admin Town of Sutton Pillsbury Memorial Hall 93 Main Street Sutton Mills, NH 03221 Select Board Minutes Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, 4:00pm Pledge of Allegiance: Select Board Chair Glenn Pogust opened the meeting at 4:00pm with the Pledge of Allegiance. Present at the meeting were: Glenn Pogust, Select Board Chair; Michael McManus, Select Board Member; Nancy Glynn, Select Board Member; and Julia Jones, Town Administrator. Also present at the meeting were: Supervisor of the Checklist and Deputy Treasurer Judy Parkinson and Lee Booker. Appointments: At 4:01pm Glynn made a motion to enter into a nonpublic session pursuant to NH RSA 91-A:3 II. (a) The dismissal, promotion, or compensation of any public employee or the disciplining of such employee, or the investigation of any charges against him or her, unless the employee affected (1) has a right to a meeting and (2) requests that the meeting be open, in which case the request shall be granted. Pogust seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. At 4:39pm Glynn made a motion to leave the nonpublic session. Pogust seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. At 4:39pm Glynn made a motion to enter into a nonpublic session pursuant to NH RSA 91-A:3 II. (b) the hiring of any person as a public employee. Pogust seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Minutes: The Board reviewed and approved public and non-public minutes from November 4th. The Board agreed to postpone review of the public minutes from November 7th at the request of the Town Administrator. Manifests: The Board reviewed and approved the following manifests: Payroll: $ 22,065.26 Vendor: $ 16,827.76 Intents: Building Permits: New Business: The Board reviewed a $10,779.77 proposal for professional engineering design & construction support services for the rehabilitation of historic granite block walls and construction of a new pedestrian bridge over Lane River submitted by Bruce Knox, Principal Engineer of Bruce Knox Engineering. The Board agreed to request a second bid. Old Business: The Board signed a letter formalizing Greg Gill’s role as Facilitator on the Camp Wabasso Project. The Board signed a letter formalizing Crispin Fletcher’s role as Communications Manager on the Camp Wabasso Project. Review of correspondence: The Board reviewed and approved a request submitted by the Sutton Free Library Director to repair the front door of the library.
