Present at the meeting was Robert Wright, Jr., Chair; William I. Curless, Selectman; Dane Headley, Selectman and Elly Phillips, Town Administrator. The public minutes from January 22, 2018 and non-public, unsealed minutes from January 22, 2018 were approved as written. The unsealed minutes pertained to hiring part-time seasonal/occasional staff for the Solid Waste Facility. The Board reviewed and approved the following manifests: REVIEW OF MANIFESTS: PAYROLL MANIFEST: $ 11,292.88 VENDOR MANIFEST: $369,514.21 NEW BUSINESS: The Board approved the 2018 Budget and will review the draft warrant at their next regularly scheduled meeting. The Board accepted the resignation of Roy Raven as Trustee of Trust Funds The Board executed a resolution to participate in the Primex – CAP Contribution Assurance Program 2019-22. The Board approved a PO for Linda Ford, Town Clerk/Tax Collector for Office Supplies The Board approved an application for Current Use for Richard, Ralph and Jessie Ennis – Map 04-676-406, Newbury Road. OLD BUSINESS: The Board issued correspondence regarding membership as requested by Cory Cochran, Fire Chief. The Board issued an abatement for Henry Gallagher in the amount of $35.50. The Board noted correspondence from Town Counsel regarding operation of snowmobiles on Class V roads. Pursuant to RSA 215-C:31 the selectmen may permit such operation by regulation. The Board must conduct a public hearing prior to adopting such a regulation. The Board agreed to wait for the Ridgerunners written request to use a Class V road prior to taking any further action. SELECTMEN’S COMMENTS: Selectman Wright discussed articles in the Town and City Magazine noting the following: Poll workers are considered employees; Requirements for domicile in for voter registration.
