Curless, Selectman; Dane Headley, Selectman; Robert Wright, Jr., Selectman; Robert DeFelice, Budget Committee Chair; and Elly Phillips, Town Administrator. The minutes from May 14, 2018 were approved as written. The Board reviewed and approved the following manifests: PAYROLL MANIFEST: $ 9,730.42 VENDOR MANIFEST: $ 9,855.90 BUILDING PERMITS: The Board reviewed and approved the following building permits: Habitat for Humanity, 07-678-144, Shaker Road for a home. No waiver of fee due to costs associated with permit due to inspection costs associated with the permit. Tal Sasi, 07-188-503, Baker Road, for a barn NEW BUSINESS: The board issued the 2018 First Issue Tax Warrant in the amount of $3,371,628.00 The Board approved an application for solar exemption, for Timothy Beale, High Mowing Road, Map 02-780-383. OLD BUSINESS: The Board issued the following items of correspondence: Letter to Betsy Forsham regarding recycling Letter to Diane Sullivan regarding citizen concerns REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE: The Board received the following items of correspondence: Correspondence from Chief Korbet regarding simulated impaired driving training 5/3/2018 Correspondence from Sergeant Crone regarding simulated impaired driving training 5/3/2018 DES Complaint – Gordon and Elaine Manning, Map 06-610-001 and response to complaint Correspondence from Marne Thompson regarding Memorial Day and the origin of the poppy tradition. SELECTMEN’S COMMENTS: Selectman Wright reported on the following articles in the May/June “Town and City”: Municipal Liability and Immunity: State Statutes Be Careful What You Sign Controlling Junk : Junkyard Enforcement Selectman Curless reported on the library ramp project. The library will draft the RFQ which will be reviewed by Town Counsel. Selectman Wright made a motion that all plans for projects are stamped by an engineer.
