Present at the meeting were: Dane Headley, Chair; Robert Wright, Jr., Selectman; William I. Curless, Selectman; Robert DeFelice, Budget Chair; and Elly Phillips, Town Administrator. The minutes from July 15, 2019, public and sealed-non-public, were approved as written. The Board reviewed and approved the following manifests: PAYROLL MANIFEST: $11,311.98 VENDOR MANIFEST: $46,850.56 CONSENT AGENDA: The Board approved an intent to cut for Laurence and Barbara Harper, for maps 05-973-179, 981-338 and 04-126-518 for 100 acres out of 286. The Board approved the following building permits: Thoma/Gardner, Route 114, M/L 07-933-325 for a woodshed. Webber/Lury, 07-933-325, Baker Hill Rd, 11, X 6 for an entryway addition. The Board approved a building permit for KRSD High School, 05-505-365, for an equipment shed subject to the conditions specified by Cory Cochran, Fire Chief. OLD BUSINESS: There was no further follow up regarding the Legislature Press Release regarding the State of NH budget. The Board issued correspondence to FEMA regarding SFHA NEW BUSINESS: Phillips was tasked with following up on the process for surrounding New Solid Waste Regulations & Fees Proposed The Board reviewed properties slated for tax deed, August 26, 2019. The Board issued the Town of Sutton MD&A for inclusion in the 2018 Audit Report. The Board scheduled a Performance Evaluation Work Session for Department Heads for August 13, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. The Board was advised that the Hazard Mitigation Public Information Session is scheduled for August 19, 2019. REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE: The Board noted the following items of correspondence. General Court: Regarding Budget Knollwood Environmental Associations – July 13, 2019 Monitoring Report Strut in Sutton Annual Event – September 22, 2019 PUBLIC INPUT: Selectman Headley and Robert DeFelice, Co-Chairs of the 26 Grist Mill Committee provided images depicting proposed parking at 26 Grist Mill Street, one with the building and one without the building. The computer generated images were created by Mr. DeFelice. The one with the building provided 21 for parking spaces. The one without provided for 22 parking spaces. Adam Hurst, Road Agent, met with the Committee to provide recommendations for the parking area. A public information session is tentatively scheduled for September 21, 2019. The parking area surface, ongoing maintenance and associated costs (including winter maintenance) were also discussed.
