At 5:00 p.m. the Roger Wells, Library Building Committee Member, met with the Board to discuss the Library Ramp project engineering designs.  Heidi Thoma, Librarian, was also present for the meeting.  Mr. Wells felt that based on the plans presented more information would be required prior to issuing an RFP.    Ms. Thoma also expressed her opinion as a “layperson” with the input of the building committee members who have reviewed the drawings much more detail would be required to put together an acceptable RFP.   Further action was deferred pending feedback from the Library Building Committee.  The Select Board will revisit the matter when a full board is present.  Mr. Wells offered to continue volunteering his time to assist the committee, but may withdraw as a committee member.  Phillips will follow up regarding contractural matters.  The process for encumbering funds was also discussed.
