Board of Selectman

December 27, 2017 @ 4:00 p.m.

 

 

The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by William I. Curless, Acting Chair.  Present at the meeting was William I. Curless, Acting Chair; Dane Headley, Selectman; and Elly Phillips, Town Administrator.

 

The mintues from December 18, 2017 were approved as written.  The Board reviewed and approved the following manifests:

PAYROLL MANIFEST:   $11,616.11

VENDOR MANIFEST:     $20,389.89

 

NEW BUSINESS:

Selectman Curless requested that time be scheduled during January Select Board meetings in order to review department head 2018 budget recommendations and deliberate on the Selectmen’s proposed 2018 budget.  The Board indicated that they would review their recommendations with department heads if any there were substantive changes to the recommendations.

 

Selectman Headley made a motion to have Selectman Curless represent the Board at meetings with Right Angle Engineering regarding the library ramp.  Selectman Curless seconded the motion which passed by a vote of 2-0.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

The Board discussed criteria for the elderly exemption and poverty abatements.

 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:17 p.m.
