October 30, 2019 | Librarian TOWN of SUTTON SUTTON FREE LIBRARY 5 Corporation Hill Road Sutton Mills, NH 03221 Board of Trustees September 26, 2019 Special Meeting Non-Public Session Approved Minutes Board Members Present: Diane O’Neil, Chairperson; Nancy Heckel, Treasurer; Jennifer Call; Diane Lander; and Betsy Anderson, Alternate designated for Yvonne Howard Board Member Absent: Yvonne Howard Other persons present during the Non-Public Session: Elizabeth Geraghty, Library Director Board Member Anderson made a motion to enter into a Non-Public Session under RSA 91-A:3, II(c): Matters which, if discussed in public, would likely affect adversely the reputation of any person, other than a member of the public body itself, unless such person requests an open meeting. This exemption shall extend to any application for assistance or tax abatement or waiver of a fee, fine, or other levy, if based on inability to pay or poverty of the applicant. Board Member Heckel seconded the motion. The roll was called and the motion to enter into a Non-Public Session under RSA 91-A:3, II(c) carried unanimously in the affirmative. The Board then entered into a Non-Public Session at 7:50 p.m. The Board Members discussed meeting with Robert DeFelice, Chair of the Sutton Budget Committee, at next Tuesday’s Board of Trustees regular meeting. The Board Members will ask Mr. DeFelice to explain Town preferred practices for managing the Library’s Town appropriated budget. No motion was made to seal these minutes. Board Member Call made a motion to leave the Non-Public Session and return to the Public Session. Board Member Heckel seconded the motion. The motion to leave the Non-Public Session and return to the Public Session carried unanimously in the affirmative. The Public Session was reconvened at 8:30 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Diane M.
