Wednesdays 10am-11am July 17: Creatures of the Night ~ Squam Live Animal Outreach Program **Sponsored by: The Friends of Sutton Free Library** Meet three live creatures of the night with a Squam Lake Science Center Naturalist to learn surprising details of the adaptations that make them well suited for nocturnal life. July 24: Egg Drop Challenge Kickoff Become a NASA Safety Engineer by experimenting with different ways to build a capsule that will safely deliver a raw egg to the ground. July 31: Planet Walk Creation ~ Friends of Sutton Free Library We will be creating our own Planet Walk along the library fence by the brook. This will be a walkable scale model of our solar system! Aug 7: Stories in the Sky ~ Lake Sunapee Protective Association Visitors from LSPA will teach us about constellations and their stories. We’ll also be making a constellation viewer! Aug 14: A Universe of Science Experiments Can you bend water? Want to see your dry erase marker drawing dance? Would you like to make some aqua sand? Want to make some balloon rockets & bottle rockets? Come join us for these fun experiments and more! Adult & Family Activities: All ages welcome, children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian please. Wed, August 14th: Traveling Planetarium ~ from the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center **Sponsored by: The Friends of Sutton Free Library** 3-5pm @ Sutton Central School, 3 separate showtimes (3pm, 4pm, 5pm), sign-up at the library ahead of time. Friday August 16th: Skywatch ~ with the NH Astronomical Society **Co-Sponsored by: Muster Field Farm** 8:30pm at Muster Field Farm, bring a telescope if you have one!
