December 8, 2016 | Town Admin TOWN OF SUTTON Zoning Board of Adjustment December 7, 2016 (7:00 p.m.) Pillsbury Memorial Hall 93 Main Street Sutton Mills, NH 03221 Work Session to complete ADU Advisory Proposal to Planning Board Call to Order by ZBA Chair, Derek Lick, at 7:03 pm ZBA members present: Derek Lick (Chair), Dane Headley, Doug Sweet. Land Us Coordinator: Ed Canane Sue Real’s written resignation received by the Chair and the Land Use Coordinator. Chair Lick acknowledged Sue as being a valuable member of the ZBA and her membership will be missed. Chair asked to consider a new member to fill the position. Dane Headly submitted a motion to accept the ZBA Minutes of 11/16/2016 Meeting. 2nd By Doug Sweet. Members voted unanimously to accept the minutes of 11/16/2016. WORK SESSION Dane Headly read from his letter/email regarding applicable definitions. Dane suggested the board use the definitions provided by Betsy Forsham (ZBA Member) in her email about multi-family. Building Attached Definition: All members agree that it can include a breezeway. Dane Headly indicated it needs to be heated, living area. Dane also stated that “Common Living Area” is a significant component for an attached ADU and that more than roof need be in place. Chair Lick requested the language “Is subordinate to….” (which is from the statute) be added to our language. Chair Lick moved the board accept the changes as discussed Dane Headly 2nd the motion.
