Zoning Board of Adjustment

Wednesday February 6, 2019

Board Members Present:  Derek Lick, Chair; Betsy Forsham, Vice-chair; Marc Beauchemin; Katy Schneider, Alternate

Board Members Absent: Samantha Gordon and Joe Eisenberg, Alternate

Call to Order:  The meeting was called to order by Chairman Derek Lick @ 6:54 p.m.  Members were thanked for attending, despite the less than ideal weather.  Alternate Katy Schneider was appointed to sit for Samantha Gordon.

Review of Minutes and Rules of Procedure:  The draft minutes of September 26, 2018 were reviewed and accepted as written.  The draft minutes of December 19, 2018 were reviewed and accepted as amended.  Forsham will make the necessary changes and get copies to Elly Phillips for inclusion on the web page and in the ZBA files.  The Rules of Procedure were briefly discussed, but Forsham asked that further discussion be suspended until more members were present.  She has several proposed changes and would like the chance to discuss them more fully.  The Chair and members agreed to review them at the meeting on February 20th, when, in fact, we will be holding a public hearing on them to approve any changes/additions to the document.

New Business:  Derek noted a flyer announcing the 25th Annual Spring Planning and Zoning Conference to be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 in Concord.  Members were encouraged to attend, the fee for which will be paid by the Town.

Continued Public Hearing from December 19, 2018: Case # Z-18-04.  Vertex Tower Assets, LLC and New Cingular Wireless PCS LLC d/b/a/ AT & T Mobility – Chairman Lick announced that the hearing would not be able to be continued tonight.  A RFP the Board has requested from radio frequency engineer (RFE) Ivan Pagacik of IDK Communications, whom we hired, will not be available until after February 18th. In addition, availability of both the applicant and Board members was polled until a mutually agreeable date was found.  Therefore, the public hearing is continued to Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at or around 7:00 p.m.

Adjournment:  There being no further business to conduct, it was moved by Chairman Lick and seconded by Member Beauchemin to adjourn.  The motion passed unanimously and the meeting was adjourned at 7:20 p.m.

The next Regular Meeting will be conducted on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Betsy Forsham
