Meeting Minutes of November 12, 2019

 

Members present:  Dane Headley, Chair, Glenn Pogust, Andy Jeffrey and Betsy Forsham.  Absent:  Don Davis and Bob DeFelice.

Call to order:  Chair Dane Headley called the meeting to order at 4:37 p.m. 

Previous meeting minutes: It was moved by Andy, seconded by Glenn and unanimously approved to approve the minutes of November 5, 2019 as written.

Business:

– On going cost estimates – Members reviewed the estimates which we have received to date but would like to get more, if possible.  Glenn will be meeting with a painter later this week.  Betsy agreed to call back a site work contractor for a figure.  It was agreed that we will take the mean amounts in both scenarios and use those in our presentation at the public hearing. A version of Glenn’s cost template as well as plans 1-b and 3-b will be distributed to the attendees.

 

– Glenn reviewed his updated cost template and agreed to make a few minor changes.

 

– Betsy noted that the public hearing to be held on Nov. 21 will be noticed in both the Intertown Record and the Kearsarge Shopper, and is already on the town’s website and in the North and South post offices.

 

– Dane still wanted to know if progress has been made in developing a contract with Muster Field Farm Museum regarding the hearse.  Those present didn’t know.  The feeling was that it will not be a complicated project to complete and is outside of this committee’s purview.  It can certainly be mentioned at the hearing if folks ask about it.

 

Next Meeting date: 

 The next, and final, regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19 @ 4:00 p.m.

 

Adjournment:

There being no further business to conduct, it was moved by Glenn, seconded by Andy and unanimously approved to adjourn at 5:09 p.m.
