January  21, 2019

 

The meeting was called to order at 4:05 p.m. by William I. Curless, Chair.  Present at the meeting was William I. Curless, Chair; Dane Headley, Selectman; Robert Wright, Jr., Selectman; Robert DeFelice, Budget Chair; and Elly Phillips, Town Administrator.

 

APPOINTMENTS:

At 4:10 p.m.    Selectman Wright made a motion to enter into non-public under RSA 91-A:3, II(d) Consideration of the acquisition, sale or lease of real or personal property which, if discussed in public, would likely benefit a party or parties whose interests are adverse to those of the general community.     Selectman Headley seconded the motion.  The Board was polled with Selectman Curless, Selectman Headley and Selectman Wright voting in the affirmative.  Public session reconvened at 5:21 p.m.  Selectman Wright made a motion to seal the minutes because it is determined that divulgence of this information likely would render a proposed action ineffective.  Selectman Headley seconded the motion.  The Board was polled with Selectman Curless, Selectmen Headley and Selectman Wright voting in the affirmative.

 

 

The public and the sealed non-public minutes from January 14, 2019 were approved as written.  The Board reviewed and approved the following manifests:

PAYROLL MANIFEST:   $10,249.75

VENDOR MANIFEST:    $27,044.87

 

BUILDING PERMT: 

The Board issued a building permit for T-Mobile LLC, 08-369-498-A, 155 Summit Road for a generator with pad.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

The Board issued an appointment for Amy Highstrom as an alternate member of the Conservation Commission for a term until March 2021.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

The Board issued correspondence to Marybeth Angeli regarding winter maintenance requirements on a summer-maintained portion of Kings Hill Road.

 

The Board issued a Certificate of Commendation for Doug Sweet for valuable service to the citizens of Sutton through his service on the Zoning Board of Adjustment for the years 2002-2018.

 

The Board was provided with copies of the proposed budget for 2019 for review and discussion at their next meeting.

 

SELECTMEN’S COMMENTS:

Selectman Wright asked that follow up be done on the Stotler property noting that progress is not being made.  The matter will be referred to Town Counsel for action.

 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
