At 1:45 p.m., Selectman Curless made a motion to enter into non-public session under RSA 91-A:3, II (a)   the dismissal, promotion, or compensation of any public employee.

Selectman Headley seconded the motion.  The Board was polled with Selectman Wright, Selectman Curless and Selectmen Headley voting in the affirmative to enter into nonpublic session.  The Board resumed public session at 2:00 p.m.  The minutes from the non-public session were not sealed.  In non-public session, the Board approved the recommendation of Carol Merullo to appoint Cynthia Stillman as Deputy Town Clerk/Tax Collector and set the compensation for Ms. Stillman at $15.50/hr.  Selectman Wright agreed to administer the oath of office to Ms. Stillman, her duties to begin at the close of business day on March 16, 2018.  Selectman Wright will follow up with Ms. Ford’s newly appointed Deputy to advise her of the appointment.
