Attention Sutton Residents

The Supervisors of the Checklist will be conducting a session at the Pillsbury Memorial Hall, Friday, October 6, 2023 from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to approve new voter registrations, to up-date the checklist with additions and corrections, and to make requested changes in your party affiliation. New voter registrations will also be accepted during this session.

October 6th is the last time before the upcoming Presidential Primary when voters may change their party affiliation by completing a new voter registration form.

Voters will only be permitted to vote in the Presidential Primary for the party designated by them as shown on the current Checklist or on their most recent voter registration form approved by the Supervisors of the Checklist.

Voters whose party designation is shown as “Undeclared” either on the current Checklist, or on their most recent voter registration form approved by the Supervisors of the Checklist will be permitted to choose to vote in either the Republican or the Democrat primary when voting in the Presidential Primary.

If you are not sure of your current party designation, you can check the current Checklist of registered Sutton voters that is available in the vestibule at Town Hall.

New voter applications can also be accepted by the Town Clerk after this October 6 session until and on primary election day, as permitted by New Hampshire law.

When registering to vote or requesting a change in your voter registration information, including party affiliation, please bring a photo ID issued by any state or the US Government. If you are not currently registered to vote in Sutton, please also bring proof of residency in the Town of Sutton if not shown on a New Hampshire-issued photo ID, and proof of U.S. citizenship in the form of a birth certificate or passport if you are not currently registered to vote anywhere in the State of New Hampshire.
