December 6, 2021 @ 4:30 p.m.

 

William I. Curless, Chair opened the meeting at 4:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.  Present at the meeting were:  William I. Curless, Chair,  Walter Baker, Jr., Selectman; Thomas Schamberg, State Representative and Elly Phillips, Town Administrator.

 

The minutes from November 29, 2021, were approved as written.  The Board reviewed and approved the following manifests:

 

Vendor Manifest:  $426,511.39

Payroll Manifest:   $ 14,699.70

 

BUILDING PERMIT:

The Board approved a building permit for  Terri & Alan Gauntt, Map 06-311-012, Route 114, for a solar array

 

INTENT TO CUT:

The Board approved an intent-to-cut for Craig Courser, Map 05-815-136, for 75 acres out of 80.7

 

OLD BUSINESS:

The Board discussed scheduling of an upcoming hearing regarding a tax deeded property.

The Board discussed finalizing 2022 proposed warrant articles for the Grist Mill Parking Area, Grist Mill Bridge, and Corporation Hill embankment repairs.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

The Board executed an annual agreement with Jane Sanders Associates for Tax Lien research services.

 

The Board received a request to use the Pillsbury Memorial Hall to hold AA meetings during the winter months.  The Board noted that the use of the Pillsbury Memorial Hall is limited to local government functions and that the Board has also restricted use of the building due to COVID concerns.  The Board suggested that the group explore alternative venues that might have more flexibility regarding use.

 

REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE:

The Board received the following items of correspondence:

NH Senate regarding the CARES act

KRSD Regarding Payment Allocation for the 2021-2022 School Year

Merrimack County regarding 2022 Proposed Budget

 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:52 p.m.
